Mercedes Garcia-French LLC is a modern settlement/mediator option with a fixed fee - know exactly what you'll pay. While an average divorce costs approximately between $15,000-$30,000 + court fees, Mercedes Garcia-French LLC fixed fee is $5,799 + court fees. (1)

(1) The court typically charges $435-$455 per spouse to file a divorce (this is the same whether you do it through Mercedes Garcia-French LLC or a traditional attorney). There can be additional court costs, such as e-filing fees or postage fees. Your mediator will let you know what the fees are for your case and collect them before filing your divorce.

(2) Includes document preparation and filing through entry of judgment. Does not include post-divorce actions necessary to implement a divorce, such as changes in title to real estate or personal property, orders required for division of retirement assets, enforcement of payments, etc.

(3) No questions asked. Pro-rata refund available after start of mediation. We hope you’re happy with Mercedes Garcia-French LLC Virtual Mediation. If for any reason you’re not satisfied, this refund policy applies. For the sake of refunds, the Total Fee is split between Initial Documentation Review fee of $799 and a $5,000 Mediation Fee. If you decide to stop the mediation process at any time before sending your initial financial questionnaire, you can request a full refund of the Initial Documentation Review. If you receive a refund all information you send to us will be lost and will not be retrievable. As soon as you send your financial questionnaire the Initial Documentation Review fee is non-refundable. Mediation Fee – If an agreement has not been reached, the Mediation Fee is refundable in proportion to the amount of mediation that has been completed. By way of example:

  • If no mediation has taken place, you can request a full refund of the Mediation Fee.

  • If three of the six hours of mediation (50%) has taken place, you can request a 50% refund, or $2,500.

  • If the full six hours of mediation has taken place, you cannot request a refund.
