Our Team

Yuxia (a.k.a. Betty) Zhang

Betty was born in Nantong, China and in currently residing in California since 2019. Betty is an immigration interview interpreter in Mandarin and English. Betty conducts all legal businesses professionally and efficiently under guidance from attorneys and supervisors. She speaks fluent English and Mandarin. 

Betty obtained her Bacherlor of Science at East China Normal University in the Geography Department in Shanghai, China. Betty attended the World Relief Immigration Law Course in Anahein, California in January 2020 where she met our founder Mercedes. Mercedes noticed that Betty was making all her notes from the seminar in Chinese while she was making them in Spanish. They instantly clicked and only God knew a couple years later they will be working together. 

As far experience, Betty has been a freelancer, translator and interpreter in California, her areas of practice have been: Immigration Law, Family Law and Civil Law. Betty has also served as a teacher in the YK Pao School in Shanghai, China.

Betty really enjoys reading and meditating and currently volunteers at Camino Immigration in California. Garcia-French Law is extremely lucky to have such an exemplar individual working with us.
